Many see this winter scene and identify with it through their feelings. Words like barren, frigid, lifeless, and, depression have been used to describe the sensation one might experience looking at the surface.

There is a season for everything my friends. And while I can certainly understand why anyone might see those types of things, I would ask you to look again.

So often in life we are taken up by the whirlwind of colour and light, that we forget to stand still once in awhile.

A lot of people are affected by this picture because it makes them feel lost, alone, and sometimes without purpose.

Look Deeper.

This small stand of trees has turned itself off to the outer world of cold lifelessness. They have gone dormant externally.

On the inside however, a steady cycle of rebirth has begun, and will continue, until the time is right to spring forth with new life and beauty.

Do you feel like your life is grey and you're stuck in the same old routine that produces little satisfaction or happiness? And yet, when the spring arrives, they will spring forth with life so boldly, it will be as though they have been in a tropical oasis for their entire existence.

You are so much more than a tree that is rooted to the ground for life.
