Ever since I was young, I noticed something about how people act around and treat people that make their career in politics, sports, and media. For some reason or another, those people always garnered an instant level of respect and influence. It didn't seem to matter if "Joe or Jane Blow" had any experience in the day to day reality that most of us experience. What mattered is; they had public presence and, opinions to share.

This bothered me for awhile, if I'm being honest. Then, I took a closer look.

While it may be true that the spotlight shines quite regularly upon those with public lives, Business Owners are a tenacious group that refuse be denied! You will find business people involved in politics, sports, media, academia, and any other subsection of society that you can imagine.

When you own a business, you have the respect of the community.

When you own a business, you have influence in the economy.

When you own a business, you control your lifestyle.

When you own a business, you understand freedom and independence.

When you own a business, you have the opportunity to be the best version of yourself.

When it comes to good reasons why you should own a business, there really is no limit to how long this list can continue. So, I guess the real question is; Why wouldn't you want to own a business?
